Jackie Dress/Blouse

The Jackie pattern is a two-in-one dress and blouse sewing pattern that features an asymmetrical button front, princess seams, and optional cap sleeves. Inspired by 60s era silhouettes, the garment includes a comfortable amount of ease while still shaping to the body. Regardless of the style you choose to make, the garment is fully lined using thoughtful construction methods to keep the garment as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. There are video guides linked in the pattern instructions for the complicated steps so that even an ambitious beginner can complete the project. Medium weight fabrics with minimal drape are ideal for this project.
