I purchased this pattern to sew a tank top for my sister to wear on our upcoming trip to Japan. Overall, I think the design is great, and I was happy with the final result, but there are a few things that could be improved.
The biggest challenge for me was assembling and printing the pattern. Some of the pattern pieces did not seem to align perfectly when putting the pages together, which made assembly a little difficult. I would also love the option to print by layer so I could print only the size I need. The colored lines were somewhat confusing once printed because the purple and pink lines looked very similar.
Before cutting into my final fabric, I made a test version, and in both attempts one of the side panel pieces seemed too short when sewing everything together. It may be worth reviewing that piece to ensure it matches correctly.
I would also love to see some optional sleeve add-ons included with the pattern. Having two or three sleeve variations would make the pattern even more versatile. Another nice addition could be neckline options. The original neckline was a little too high for my personal preference, so on my second version I lowered it slightly and preferred the fit.
Despite these issues, I really like the overall design and think it has a lot of potential. With a few improvements, this pattern would be even better.
